- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup dried fruits (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the rolled oats, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), applesauce, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until well combined.
- Add in the baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, stirring until fully blended.
- Fold in optional chopped nuts and dried fruits for added texture and flavor.
- Pour the batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
