Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the rolled oats, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), applesauce, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Add in the baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, stirring until fully blended.
  4. Fold in optional chopped nuts and dried fruits for added texture and flavor.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the cake for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
