Description

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the loaf pan by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients: whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt, then set aside.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients: mix melted butter, vegetable oil, and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla.
  5. Incorporate the mashed bananas, mixing until evenly distributed.
  6. Combine the dry and wet mixtures gently, folding until just combined.
  7. Add the chocolate chips by folding them into the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading evenly.
  9. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
