  • Yield: 12 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Delightful snacks combining cheesecake flavors with a healthy twist, perfect for a quick pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder
  • ¾ cup oat flour (or finely ground oats)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pink/red sprinkles or extra crushed strawberries (optional, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the vanilla protein powder, oat flour, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly for even distribution.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Add softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix to bind ingredients.
  3. Stir Until Combined: Use a fork or spatula to mix until a thick, dough-like mixture forms. Add milk if the mixture is dry.
  4. Roll into Balls: Scoop a small amount of mixture and roll into bite-sized balls, about one inch in diameter.
  5. Coat Your Balls (Optional): Roll them in pink or red sprinkles or crushed strawberries for visual appeal and added flavor.
  6. Refrigerate: Place the protein balls on a plate or container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Store Properly: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

Experiment with flavors by adding nuts, seeds, or varying the protein powder. Adjust sweetness based on preference.
