This pizza combines the simplicity of homemade dough with a spicy-sweet twist from hot honey, pepperoni, and creamy ricotta.

- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 20 slices pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Prepare the dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch round shape.
- Transfer the dough onto parchment paper.
- Add olive oil over the surface of the dough.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a border.
- Layer the mozzarella cheese over the sauce and dollop the ricotta cheese evenly.
- Add the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the crushed red pepper flakes across the pizza.
- Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden-brown.
- Finish by drizzling hot honey over the top after baking.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
- Slice into wedges and serve hot.
Notes
For extra spice, feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes according to your taste.
