- 1 head of cabbage
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, red pepper flakes, herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your pan: Start by heating your pan over medium heat.
- Prepare the cabbage: Cut the cabbage into thick slices, about 1 inch each.
- Mix the glaze: Combine the honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Brush with glaze: Apply the glaze on both sides of each cabbage steak.
- Cook the cabbage steaks: Place the cabbage steaks in the skillet and sear each side for approximately 4 to 5 minutes.
- Finish and serve: Remove the cabbage steaks from the pan, drizzle with leftover glaze, and garnish with herbs.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
