Grilled Corn on the Cob

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Grilled Corn on the Cob, perfect for summer barbecues and Fourth of July celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 ears of fresh corn
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional toppings: paprika, chili powder, parmesan cheese, lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the corn: Start by shucking the corn. Remove the outer leaves and the silky threads attached to the ears. Rinse the corn under cold water to wash away any remaining silk.
  2. Soak the corn: To ensure that your corn stays moist while grilling, soak it in cold water for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill: While your corn is soaking, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the corn: Once the corn is ready, shake off the excess water and place the ears directly on the grill grates. Grill the corn for about 10-15 minutes, turning them every 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add butter and seasoning: Remove the corn from the grill and let it cool slightly. Spread butter over each ear while it’s still warm and season with salt and optional toppings.
  6. Serve: Place your grilled corn on a platter and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh corn for the best flavor; don’t overcook the corn to maintain tenderness.
