Description
Delicious and easy-to-make Grilled Corn on the Cob, perfect for summer barbecues and Fourth of July celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 ears of fresh corn
- 1 stick of unsalted butter
- Salt to taste
- Optional toppings: paprika, chili powder, parmesan cheese, lime juice
Instructions
- Prepare the corn: Start by shucking the corn. Remove the outer leaves and the silky threads attached to the ears. Rinse the corn under cold water to wash away any remaining silk.
- Soak the corn: To ensure that your corn stays moist while grilling, soak it in cold water for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill: While your corn is soaking, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the corn: Once the corn is ready, shake off the excess water and place the ears directly on the grill grates. Grill the corn for about 10-15 minutes, turning them every 2-3 minutes.
- Add butter and seasoning: Remove the corn from the grill and let it cool slightly. Spread butter over each ear while it’s still warm and season with salt and optional toppings.
- Serve: Place your grilled corn on a platter and serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh corn for the best flavor; don’t overcook the corn to maintain tenderness.
