Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease the loaf pan with non-stick spray or butter.
  3. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Mix in the melted butter until well combined.
  5. Add baking soda and a pinch of salt, mixing thoroughly.
  6. Incorporate sugar, egg, and vanilla extract into the mixture.
  7. Add the flour gradually, stirring until just incorporated.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  9. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  10. Bake for 60-65 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
  11. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
