Instructions

  3. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas.
  5. Mix in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  6. Add the baking soda and salt, stirring well.
  7. Combine the all-purpose flour gradually, mixing until just combined.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
  9. Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter.
  10. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  11. Cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
