Instructions

  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until evenly combined.
  6. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt into the mixture, then mix in the all-purpose flour gently.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
  8. Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness.
