Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix in the melted butter until well combined.
- Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until evenly combined.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt into the mixture, then mix in the all-purpose flour gently.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness.
- Cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
