Description

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the rigatoni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  3. Prepare the meat sauce by browning the ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  5. Mix in the marinara sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper, and let it simmer.
  6. Combine the cooked rigatoni with the meat sauce in a large bowl to fully coat the pasta.
