- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or dill)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil water in a large pot with a pinch of salt, add pasta, and cook until al dente. Drain and cool.
- Prepare the vegetables: Chop celery, dice bell pepper, and finely chop red onion.
- Combine ingredients: In a bowl, mix cooled pasta, tuna, celery, bell pepper, and onion.
- Make the dressing: Whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Mix salad and dressing: Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss until well-coated.
- Chill the salad: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
