Description

A delightful blend of tropical pineapple and savory chicken cooked to perfection in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (canned or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. Add the sliced bell pepper on top.
  5. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.
