Description

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1.5 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 34 bananas)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and line the loaf pan with parchment paper.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Combine melted butter, vegetable oil, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in the mashed bananas using a spatula.
  7. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  8. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and gently fold them in.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  10. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  11. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes before removing.
