Description

A delightful dessert combining sweet and salty flavors with a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and luscious strawberry layer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Cool the crust completely after baking.
  5. Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  7. Dissolve the strawberry Jello in boiling water and let it cool slightly.
  8. Stir in sliced strawberries into the Jello mixture.
  9. Pour the Jello and strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
  11. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Avoid freezing to maintain texture.
