Description
Soft, pink strawberry cookies made with strawberry cake mix, rolled in sugar, and topped with a chocolate kiss a sweet and festive treat perfect for Valentine’s Day or any celebration.
Ingredients
1 box strawberry cake mix
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Granulated sugar for rolling
24 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until a soft dough forms.
3. Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
4. Place dough balls onto prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
5. Bake for 9–11 minutes until set but still soft.
6. Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
7. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Do not overbake to keep cookies soft.
Chocolate kisses will soften but firm up again as cookies cool.
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
