Ingredients

Scale

1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds

2 tbsp olive oil

8 oz goat cheese, softened

2 cups fresh strawberries, diced

2 tbsp honey (plus more for drizzling)

2 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)

Fresh basil leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.

3. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp. Let cool slightly.

5. Top with diced strawberries.

6. Drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze (if using).

7. Sprinkle with chopped basil, salt, and pepper.

Notes

You can use whipped goat cheese for a lighter, creamier texture.

Substitute strawberries with raspberries or figs for variety.

Make ahead by toasting the crostini and prepping toppings separately — assemble just before serving.
