Description
Crispy, golden egg rolls filled with creamy cheesecake and sweet strawberry filling a fun handheld twist on classic strawberry cheesecake that’s perfect for dessert or parties.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup diced strawberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
1 tbsp sugar (for strawberries)
10 egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Powdered sugar for dusting
Optional: whipped cream or chocolate drizzle for serving
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix diced strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar; let sit for 10 minutes to release juices.
2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
3. Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you like a diamond.
4. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cheesecake mixture in the center and top with a spoonful of strawberries.
5. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
6. Seal the edge with a dab of water.
7. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
8. Heat oil in a skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
9. Fry egg rolls in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
10. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Air fry at 375°F for 6–8 minutes for a lighter version.
Serve with strawberry sauce or melted chocolate for dipping.
Chill the filling before assembling for easier rolling.
