Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for dressing)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
  • Fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Coat each cauliflower floret in the batter.
  5. Arrange the coated florets on the baking tray, avoiding overcrowding.
  6. Drizzle the florets with olive oil.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  8. Flip the florets over and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  9. In a small saucepan, combine harissa, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice; heat for 2-3 minutes until glossy.
  10. Toss the baked cauliflower in the glaze.
  11. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  12. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and parsley.

Notes

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for added creaminess. These wings are best enjoyed right after cooking.
