- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp harissa paste
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for dressing)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
- Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Coat each cauliflower floret in the batter.
- Arrange the coated florets on the baking tray, avoiding overcrowding.
- Drizzle the florets with olive oil.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Flip the florets over and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, combine harissa, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice; heat for 2-3 minutes until glossy.
- Toss the baked cauliflower in the glaze.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and parsley.
Notes
Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for added creaminess. These wings are best enjoyed right after cooking.
