Description
A bold and flavorful noodle dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sticky garlic sauce sweet, savory, and utterly addictive. Perfect for busy weeknights and ready in minutes!
Ingredients
8 oz rice noodles or egg noodles
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breast), cut into bite-size pieces
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp oil (divided)
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)
2 green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
2. In a bowl, toss chicken with 2 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch; let marinate for 10 minutes.
3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
4. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through; remove from the pan and set aside.
5. Add remaining oil to the same pan, then sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
6. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and chili flakes.
7. Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sticky sauce.
8. Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until glossy and evenly coated.
9. Top with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce to control saltiness.
For a spicy kick, add sriracha or extra chili flakes.
You can substitute tofu or shrimp for chicken.
Great for meal prep — reheat in a pan with a splash of water to loosen the sauce.
