Description
Spicy ginger garlic broccoli stir fry is a bold, flavorful side or main made with crisp-tender broccoli tossed in a savory, spicy sauce packed with fresh ginger, garlic, and chili heat.
Ingredients
4 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp honey or sugar
1 tbsp water
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
2. Add broccoli florets and stir fry for 4–5 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
3. Add ginger and garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, honey, and water.
5. Pour sauce over broccoli and toss to coat evenly.
6. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and broccoli is tender-crisp.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds.
8. Serve hot.
Notes
Adjust chili garlic sauce to control spice level.
Add tofu or chicken for a complete meal.
Best served immediately while broccoli stays crisp.
