- 1 pound white button mushrooms (halved or quartered)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until bubbly and fragrant.
- Add the halved or quartered mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for about 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
- Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to incorporate browned bits.
- Season with salt and black pepper, and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped parsley just before serving and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
