Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup milk

1 egg

2 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp white vinegar

Pink or red food coloring


Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

2. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla, vinegar, and food coloring.

3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

4. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease.

5. Pour batter onto skillet to form pancakes.

6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until done.

7. Serve warm with butter, syrup, or whipped cream.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter for fluffy pancakes.

Adjust food coloring for desired pink shade.
