Description
Classic Peanut Butter Blossoms soft, chewy peanut butter cookies topped with a rich Hershey’s Kiss. A beloved holiday favorite that combines nutty flavor with just the right touch of chocolate.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup additional granulated sugar (for rolling)
36 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla extract; beat until combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each in granulated sugar.
7. Place on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
9. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie while still warm.
10. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking if your kitchen is warm.
Use dark chocolate or caramel-filled Kisses for a fun twist.
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
