Description
This No Bake Peppermint Oreo Cheesecake is creamy, minty, and loaded with chocolatey cookie goodness. Perfect for holiday desserts or anytime you crave a festive, rich, and indulgent treat — without turning on the oven!
Ingredients
24 Oreo cookies, divided
5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Optional: crushed Oreos or chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
1. Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
2. Separate 6 Oreos from the rest and crush them finely. Mix with melted butter and press into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
4. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with peppermint extract until stiff peaks form.
5. Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
6. Roughly chop the remaining Oreos and fold them into the cheesecake filling.
7. Spread the filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
9. Optional: garnish with crushed Oreos or chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
For a stronger peppermint flavor, add a few drops more peppermint extract.
Use dairy-free cream cheese and whipped topping to make this recipe vegan.
