Description
Delicious bite-sized Stuffed Mushrooms filled with a savory blend of cream cheese, garlic, herbs, and breadcrumbs baked until golden and irresistible.
Ingredients
20 large white mushrooms
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp dried thyme
Cooking spray or extra olive oil for brushing
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems; finely chop the stems and set aside.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Add chopped mushroom stems, onion, and garlic; sauté until softened.
5. In a bowl, combine the cooked mixture with cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, and thyme.
6. Spoon the filling into the mushroom caps and arrange them on the baking sheet.
7. Lightly spray or brush tops with olive oil.
8. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
9. Garnish with extra parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Add crumbled bacon or sausage for a heartier filling.
Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
These can be prepped ahead and baked right before serving.
