Description

A delicious and fun treat that combines sweet King’s Hawaiian rolls with creamy cheesecake and fruity preserves, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup fruit preserves (e.g., strawberry or raspberry)
  • 1 egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, sour cream, and egg in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottoms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Scoop the cheesecake mixture onto the bottom halves of the rolls.
  5. Add a spoonful of fruit preserves on top of the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool the Danish for a few minutes before serving.
