Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Prepare a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Bread each chicken breast by dredging in flour, dipping in eggs, and coating in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat enough olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain the cutlets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crunchy texture, do not overcrowd the skillet while frying. Serve with marinara sauce or salad.
