- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Prepare a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
- Bread each chicken breast by dredging in flour, dipping in eggs, and coating in breadcrumbs.
- Heat enough olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the breaded chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain the cutlets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
- Rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crunchy texture, do not overcrowd the skillet while frying. Serve with marinara sauce or salad.
