Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups milk
1 large egg
3 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh strawberries
Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
4. Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
5. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease.
6. Pour batter into a heart-shaped mold or shape hearts freehand on the skillet.
7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden.
8. Repeat with remaining batter and serve warm.
Notes
Do not overmix batter to keep pancakes fluffy.
Use silicone heart molds for easy shaping.
Serve with whipped cream, maple syrup, or extra strawberries.
