Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Combine the flour and salt, then mix until just combined.
- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Make indentations in the center of each ball.
- Fill each indentation with a small amount of fruit jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
