- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare your pre-baked pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- Sauté the onion, celery, and red bell pepper in melted butter for 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika; cook for 1 minute.
- Cook shrimp in the skillet for 2-3 minutes until pink.
- Make the sauce by adding flour, then whisk in heavy cream and milk; cook until thickened.
- Add shredded cheese to the mixture until melted.
- Fill the pie crust with the shrimp mixture.
- Prepare the topping by mixing panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and Parmesan.
- Top the pie with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
