- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 6 French rolls
- 1 cup sliced provolone cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the beef roast by placing it in your crockpot.
- Mix together the onion soup mix, beef broth, water, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the roast in the crockpot.
- Cook the beef on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours until tender.
- Shred the beef with two forks and return it to the crockpot.
- Assemble sandwiches with the shredded beef and provolone cheese on French rolls.
- Serve with au jus on the side for dipping.
