- 8 oz halloumi cheese
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- 3 tbsp fresh pomegranate seeds
- 2 tbsp crushed pistachios
- Pinch flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Cut the halloumi cheese into fries, about half an inch thick.
- Toss the halloumi fries in cornstarch until well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the halloumi fries until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- In a small bowl, mix pomegranate molasses, honey, and chili flakes to create the drizzle.
- Place fries on a serving plate in a single layer.
- Drizzle the pomegranate mixture over the fries.
- Top with fresh pomegranate seeds, crushed pistachios, and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
