Description

Delightful crispy halloumi fries topped with a sweet and tangy pomegranate drizzle, perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz halloumi cheese
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 3 tbsp fresh pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tbsp crushed pistachios
  • Pinch flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the halloumi cheese into fries, about half an inch thick.
  2. Toss the halloumi fries in cornstarch until well coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the halloumi fries until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. In a small bowl, mix pomegranate molasses, honey, and chili flakes to create the drizzle.
  6. Place fries on a serving plate in a single layer.
  7. Drizzle the pomegranate mixture over the fries.
  8. Top with fresh pomegranate seeds, crushed pistachios, and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
