Description
Creamy Tuscan Chicken is a rich and flavorful dish made with tender chicken breasts simmered in a creamy garlic sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach a restaurant-quality meal you can make at home in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Add butter and garlic to the same skillet; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Add sun-dried tomatoes and spinach; cook until spinach wilts.
6. Return chicken to the pan and coat with the sauce.
7. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes, then serve hot with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
Notes
Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for extra tenderness.
Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
This sauce also pairs beautifully with salmon or shrimp.
