Description
These Cranberry Turkey Sliders are the ultimate way to enjoy Thanksgiving flavors in a bite-sized sandwich juicy turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, and melted cheese on buttery rolls.
Ingredients
12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
2 cups cooked turkey, sliced or shredded
1 cup cranberry sauce
8 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Without separating the rolls, slice them in half horizontally.
3. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the baking dish.
4. Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the bottoms.
5. Layer turkey slices evenly, then top with cheese and a generous spread of cranberry sauce.
6. Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
8. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
9. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until golden and gooey.
10. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
Use leftover Thanksgiving turkey for an easy next-day meal.
You can substitute ham or chicken if desired.
Make ahead and refrigerate before baking; just add 5 extra minutes to bake time.
