Description
Crispy, golden puff pastry twists coated in buttery cinnamon sugar an easy and irresistible treat perfect for snacking, breakfast, or dessert.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
2 tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Flour for dusting
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle.
3. Brush the surface evenly with melted butter.
4. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together.
5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered pastry.
6. Fold the pastry sheet in half lengthwise and gently press together.
7. Cut into 1/2-inch strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
8. Twist each strip a few times and place on the baking sheet.
9. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
10. Let cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For extra sweetness, drizzle with a simple glaze made of powdered sugar and milk.
Add a pinch of nutmeg for more flavor depth.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
