Description
No-bake chocolate peanut butter snowballs made with creamy peanut butter centers coated in rich chocolate and finished with a dusting of powdered sugar an easy, festive treat everyone will love.
Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening
Extra powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, mix peanut butter, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
2. Gradually add powdered sugar, stirring until a thick dough forms.
3. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
4. Chill in the freezer for 20–30 minutes until firm.
5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
6. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating evenly.
7. Return to the tray and chill until the chocolate is set, about 15 minutes.
8. Once firm, roll lightly in powdered sugar for a snowball effect.
9. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
For a holiday twist, drizzle white chocolate or sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
These snowballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for longer storage.
