Description

Fig and goat cheese crostini combine creamy, tangy goat cheese with sweet figs on crisp toasted baguette slices, finished with honey and fresh thyme for an elegant appetizer.


Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

8 oz goat cheese, softened

1 cup fresh figs, sliced (or fig jam)

2 tbsp honey

Fresh thyme leaves

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.

3. Toast for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.

4. Spread goat cheese evenly over each toasted slice.

5. Top with sliced figs or a spoonful of fig jam.

6. Drizzle lightly with honey.

7. Garnish with fresh thyme, salt, and black pepper.

8. Serve immediately or at room temperature.

Notes

Can be served warm or at room temperature.
