Description
A sweet and savory flatbread featuring juicy blueberries, tangy feta cheese, and a drizzle of honey on a crispy baked crust. Perfect as an appetizer, lunch, or light summer dinner.
Ingredients
1 flatbread or naan
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp honey (plus more for drizzling)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil or mint
Optional: balsamic glaze for finishing
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
3. Scatter blueberries evenly over the flatbread.
4. Sprinkle feta cheese on top, followed by a drizzle of honey and a pinch of black pepper.
5. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are crisp and the cheese begins to soften.
6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil or mint.
7. Drizzle with extra honey or balsamic glaze before serving.
8. Slice and enjoy warm.
Notes
For extra crunch, add toasted walnuts or almonds before baking.
Use goat cheese instead of feta for a creamier flavor.
This recipe also works great on mini naan rounds for bite-sized appetizers.
