Description

A delightful dessert combining rich cheesecake with sweet and tart fresh blueberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by combining graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, and pressing it into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Mix the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  6. Add the fresh blueberries and sour cream, folding gently to keep the blueberries intact.
  7. Combine the cheesecake mixture with the prepared crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  9. Cool in the oven for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  10. Serve after carefully removing from the springform pan, garnished with additional blueberries if desired.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother batter. Consider a water bath for extra creaminess.
