Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan lightly to prevent sticking.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Prepare the wet mixture by creaming together butter, egg, and vanilla until fluffy.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until just mixed.
- Fold in the fresh raspberries with a spatula.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Serve with butter, cream cheese, or ice cream.
