Description
A fun and creamy dessert cheese ball made with peanut butter, cream cheese, and chocolate chipsĀ perfect for parties, holidays, or a sweet snack dip for graham crackers and fruit.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (plus extra for coating)
1/2 cup crushed peanuts or graham cracker crumbs (for coating)
Graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices for serving
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, peanut butter, butter, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
2. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until well combined.
3. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
4. Transfer mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap and shape into a ball.
5. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or freeze for 20 minutes) to firm up.
6. Unwrap and roll the ball in a mixture of mini chocolate chips and crushed peanuts or graham crumbs until fully coated.
7. Place on a serving plate and refrigerate until ready to serve.
8. Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices.
Notes
For a nut-free version, use sunflower seed butter and skip the peanut coating.
Add a drizzle of melted chocolate before serving for an extra treat.
Best served chilled and can be made up to 2 days in advance.
