Description

Delicious chocolate chip brownie swirl cookies that combine the rich taste of brownies with the texture of chocolate chip cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then sift together.
  6. Mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until well combined, being careful not to overmix.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  8. Drop heaping tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly cracked.
  10. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or try adding nuts or different types of chocolate chips.
