Delicious chocolate chip brownie swirl cookies that combine the rich taste of brownies with the texture of chocolate chip cookies.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then sift together.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until well combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly cracked.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or try adding nuts or different types of chocolate chips.
