Description

A smoky, buttery BBQ shrimp dish packed with bold Cajun flavors, fresh herbs, and a zesty kick  perfect for a seafood lover’s feast or summer cookout.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)

3 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup BBQ sauce

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Add BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, paprika, and cayenne; stir to combine.

5. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

6. Toss shrimp to coat evenly in the sauce.

7. Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot.

8. Serve with lemon wedges and crusty bread to soak up the sauce.

Notes

For extra smoky flavor, grill the shrimp before tossing in the BBQ butter sauce.

Pair with corn on the cob or coleslaw for a full Southern-style meal.

Use your favorite BBQ sauce — sweet, spicy, or tangy — to match your taste.
