A rich, creamy, and cheesy baked crab dip loaded with tender lump crab meat, savory seasonings, and golden melted cheese the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer for any occasion.
Ingredients
1 lb lump crab meat (picked over for shells)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tbsp chopped green onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Crackers, toasted baguette slices, or tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Fold in crab meat, green onions, and half of the cheeses.
4. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
5. Top with remaining cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.
6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
7. Garnish with additional green onions and serve warm with crackers or bread.
Notes
Use fresh lump crab meat for the best flavor and texture.
Add a touch of hot sauce for extra heat.
To make ahead, assemble the dip and refrigerate; bake just before serving.
